About Me

I’m Adeline, a 22-year-old queer singer-songwriter, raised in a family of musicians in the Pacific Northwest. Music has always been at the core of my identity. What began with classical training in viola and early exposure to vocal performance has evolved into a passion for writing and performing my own songs.

As a songwriter, my focus is on storytelling. I aim to write lyrics that feel like honest conversations, poetic, vivid, and emotionally resonant. Growing up, I noticed how many songs stuck to simple, predictable language. I challenge that by pulling from a broader emotional and linguistic palette, influenced by my love of literature and the richness of language I encountered while spending time in Europe.

Nature, love, heartbreak, and healing are recurring themes in my work, often inspired by the Pacific Northwest’s forests, coastline, and quiet. Though my parents weren’t campers, I found my own connection to the outdoors-sitting by a fire with my guitar has always felt like home.

My foundation in classical music, combined with influences from jazz, bossa nova, and folk, gives my songwriting a wide expressive range. I started writing songs as a child and recorded my first original project in 8th grade with help from my father and his connections in the industry-a pivotal moment that affirmed this path for me.

Ultimately, my goal is to make a living sharing my original music with the world. I’m always learning, always writing, and always looking for ways to connect more deeply through my art.
